The group area is bounded by the River Murray in the north, Koimbo in the south, Wemen in the west and Wandown in the east. The total area is approximately 80,000 hectares. The majority of land in the area is under dryland agriculture including cereals, sheep and cattle. Intensive horticulture dominates land use along the river and includes viticulture, citrus, vegetables and nuts. Robinvale is the largest town within the area.
