Treeguards gone - looks a lot better
Nangiloc and District Kindergarten and Kulkyne Way Landcare Group removed the tree guards from revegetation works carried out at the Chalka Creek in Hattah Kulkyne National Park.

Nangiloc and District Kindergarten receives grant to prepare Environmental Management Plan
Nangiloc and District Kindergarten has received $1000 in funding from Junior Landcare. The kinder received the funds through the Yates School Environmental Management Planning Grants (SEMP) to help promote sustainable practices at kinder and learn more about their surrounding natural environment.
Nullawil Landcare Group to demostrate No-Till
Nullawil Landcare Group is being supported through funding from the Australian Government's Caring For Our Country program. The project, Reducing Soil Loss by Wind Erosion Through the Use of No-Till Practices in the South East Mallee, will operate demonstration sites to promote No-Till in the region
Birchip Stormwater Treatment Project completed
The Birchip Stormwater Treament and Reuse project has been completed. The project will provide a cleaner source of water for reuse by the towns recreational facilties. The project also provides improved habitat for water dependant fauna in the Birchip area.
