The Manangatang Landcare Group covers a large area of approximately 190,000 hectares. It extends from Tyrrell in the south to Annuello in the north, from Kookoomboo in the east to Kulwin in the west. The main land use in the area is dryland agriculture including cereals, pulses, sheep and cattle. There are approximately 90 landholders farming in the district. Remnant Project
Keith and Leslie dawes have protected a 300ha remnant consisting of areas of Mallee, Pine ridges open grassland and a salt flat. There is also a large range of wildlife present.
